We are predominantly a contract wood machining facility for customers who want wood processing to specific sizes or profiling. The wood shavings created are then processed in bulk or bale format, to customers needing deep litter or animal bedding.
We use five different moulders (three with six cutting heads, one with seven cutting heads, one with eight cutting heads) in our wood machines. We can cut planed square edge, tongue and groove, planed tongue and groove with a V on one side or two sides, and shiplap weatherboard, or any pattern required.
Many of our customers are large blue chip organisations who retail machined timber products within the UK mainland. Production capacity of our mill is between 2000 and 3000 m3 per month giving confidence that we can meet all our customer expectations.
